Thanks, Teeni! I’ve done so many things to those poor steps. They were once stenciled, then they were numbered, now they are wallpapered! I’ve always got to find things to keep me busy(ier). Thrift stores are def my favorite places. I get giddy when I find deals!

The wallpaper is awesome – I love it on the stair risers! What a great idea. I’ve seen people stencil there and have always loved that but now even the less artsy people can use your wallpaper idea for the same type of effect. You are too smart! The lamp looks great too! You are so talented! I love going into thrift shops – even the Salvation Army or Goodwill store because I always get inspired by the things I see there and thinking of the things I could do (not that I ever actually get any of them done like you do, LOL) but it is truly inspiring and fun. Just like you sharing your work with us. Thanks!

Chalkboard paint is great! I do love chalkboards and probably have a few too many but had never painted a wall with it. Now I’m even thinking about painting my fridge.

I DO have colored chalk! It’s just waiting to be used.
